Legislative Colleagues Support Reelection of 8 Term Veteran
Saint Paul, Minnesota (February 27, 2018) – State Representative John Lesch (66B, Saint Paul), has announced the support of his legislative colleagues in his 2018 bid for reelection.
Lesch, the Chair of the Saint Paul Delegation in the State House, has worked with his colleagues for over ten years in helping to deliver much needed services and resources for the people of Saint Paul.
“I am honored and humbled to have their support,” said Lesch, “helping our hometown is a team effort, and we do better when we are united.”
Lesch’s accomplishments as part of the delegation have included winning funds to support Como Park Zoo and Conservatory which helps to allow for ongoing free admission to all, matching funds for the Saints Ballpark in Downtown Saint Paul, and delivering on Local Government Aid which helps to keep the lid on property taxes and makes city services available to all residents.
“These bread and butter issues are not high profile,” said Lesch, “but they add up to create a city where every person can live, work, and raise a family no matter where they came from or what they started with. I am proud of what we do.”
