Notice of Internship
The John Lesch for State Representative team is looking for bright, motivated and ambitious individuals to serve as an integrated part of campaign strategy for the 2018 election cycle. Tasks will involve data entry, volunteer coordination, parade planning/execution, fundraising, event planning, door-knocking and phone call training.
The internship is unpaid. Interns will have the opportunity to see the inner workings of a political campaign, as well as experience a legislative session while working with an incumbent legislator who is running for reelection.
Experience is preferred in MS Office suite of applications, and in use and general familiarity in the operating systems of Apple hardware.
The ideal candidate for this internship is an outgoing self-starter with an interest in politics and policy, and exceptional organizational skills, who aspires to a successful career in business or politics.
When: Through Nov. 6, 2018
Where: House District 66B; Como Park, Hamline-Midway, East Side, North End
Who: Registered voters, residents of Minnesota
Hours: 2-8 hrs per week (variable)
